Life
Peter of Anium, also remembered as Peter at Hierapolis, was a martyr commemorated on January 13. By the accounts he was slain at Hierapolis for confessing the name of Christ during the persecutions of the early fourth century, between the years 309 and 320.
Little more is recorded of his life beyond the place and manner of his confession; the synaxarion preserves his memory among the martyrs of that age.
